Some of Eligibility Requirements:
- As of April 2024, international students enrolled in GSFS as a regular master’s or doctoral course student, being in good academic and personal standing and in good physical health, who need financial support to continue their study. (*Receiving other scholarship will be allowed.)
- Those who are able to be interviewed in Tokyo or online (early June)
- Those who are in good physical and mental health.
- Those who are motivated to study and have a good prospect of completing their studies.
- Average monthly income (support from home county) is less than average monthly expenses.
- Those who have particular competence in a specific particular field and can demonstrate it.
- For students in their second year and beyond, a GPA of 3.5 or above, or an equivalent grade point average of 80 or higher from the preceding academic year, is required.
- Graduate students are required to demonstrate outstanding academic performance throughout both their undergraduate and graduate studies. Moreover, they must exhibit the potential to excel as either researchers or professionals, possessing a high level of expertise in their chosen field for future endeavors.
- Those who are able to submit required application materials listed in the Foundation’s guideline within several days if recommended to the foundation.
主な応募資格:
- 2024年4月時点で本研究科の正規生として在学する留学生で、修学・研究のために来日し、学業、人物ともに優秀 、かつ健康であって、学業の維持のために奨学金の給与が必要と認められる者
*他の奨学金との併給可 - 東京都内での面接、またはweb面接が可能な者（６月初旬を予定）
- 心身ともに健康であること
- 学修に意欲があり、学業を確実に修了できる見込みがあると認められること
- 月額の平均収入（仕送り）が月額平均支出を下回ること
- 特定の分野において、特に優れた資質能力があり、その資質能力を証明することができること
- 大学２年次生以上については、前年時のＧＰＡが３．５以上又は成績評価値の総合点が８０点以上に準ずる成績であること
- 大学院生については、大学及び大学院における成績が優れ、将来、研究者又は高度の専門性を要する職業人として活動する能力があると認められること
- 財団に推薦が決定した場合、応募要項に記載された必要書類を数日以内に提出できる者。

Applicants must fill out the online application form below and upload the following documents.
- Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations
- Transcript (from undergrad to graduate)
- Copy of Residence card
- Copy of Student ID

You cannot apply for other scholarships through UTokyo if you receive the university’s recommendation to the Foundation.
Scholarships with the University recommendation cannot be declined. Please consider carefully which scholarship you will apply for.
The Application Form for Private Foundation Scholarships should be signed by the applicant’s supervisor at GSFS and submitted in PDF format for online submission.

書類を提出する前に、必ず民間奨学金応募、財団募集要項を確認のうえ応募してください。
推薦を得た場合、他の大学推薦の奨学金に応募できなくなります（併給可の場合を除く）。
大学推薦の奨学金は辞退ができません。奨学金の内容をよく確認してから、申請してください。
民間奨学金調書をアップロードする際、新領域での指導教員がサインをした後、PDF化しアップロードしてください。
