研究科長賞/Dean's Award
新領域創成科学研究科では、表彰制度として「新領域創成科学研究科長賞」を設け、毎年表彰を行っています。
The Graduate School of Frontier Sciences has established the Dean's Award of Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, and awards it every year.

「新領域創成科学研究科長賞」は、当該年度に新領域創成科学研究科修士課程修了者及び修了見込みの者、同博士課程修了者及び修了見込みの者を対象とし、各専攻において、学業面で顕著な功績や特に優れた成果をあげた点に基づいて、修士から候補者1名及び博士から候補者1名が選考されます。
この他「新領域創成科学研究科長賞」には２つの部門があります。
The Graduate School of Frontier Sciences Dean's Award is open to students who have completed or are expected to complete a master's course or a doctoral course at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences in the current academic year. One candidate from the master's course and one candidate from the doctoral course will be selected based on their outstanding academic achievements and particularly outstanding results in their respective majors.
In addition, there are two other categories for the Dean's Award for the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences.
国際交流部門/International Exchange Department
- 受賞者 ：個人１名または団体１団体
- 対 象 ：新領域創成科学研究科に当該年度内に在籍する学生（個人または団体）
- 選考基準：海外との文化・技術交流を行い、新しい知の創造とその活用に国際的に貢献した個人・団体に授与する。
- Recipients : One individual or one group
- Eligibility: Students (individuals or groups) enrolled in the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences during the current academic year.
- Selection criteria: The award will be given to an individual or organization that has made an international contribution to the creation and application of new knowledge through cultural and technological exchange with foreign countries.
地域貢献部門/Community Contribution department
- 受賞者 ：個人１名または団体１団体
- 対 象 ：新領域創成科学研究科に当該年度内に在籍する学生（個人または団体）
- 選考基準：ものづくり、ボランティア活動などの課外活動や社会との連携を通じて、柏周辺地域における住民の生活基盤の向上や環境の改善等で地域貢献 を行った個人・団体に授与する。
- Recipients: One individual or one group
- Eligibility: Students (individuals or groups) enrolled in the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences during the current academic year.
- Selection criteria: The award will be given to individuals or organizations that have contributed to the community by improving the living infrastructure of residents and the environment in the Kashiwa area through extracurricular activities such as manufacturing, volunteer activities, and collaboration with society.
この２つの部門の申請は自由応募（自薦・他薦） となっており、例年12月～1月が申請期間となりますので、期間内に担当の新領域創成科学研究科教務チームに推薦書類を提出することになります。その後審査により受賞者を決定します。
例年3月に授与式が行われます。
Applications for these two categories are free for applying (self-recommendation or recommendation by others), and the application period is usually from December to January each year, so please submit your recommendation to the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences the Student Affairs Team during this period. After that, the award recipient will be selected by screening.
The awarding ceremony is usually held in March.
総長賞/President's Award
平成14年度に創設された「東京大学総長賞」は、「本学の学生として、学業、課外活動、社会活動等において特に顕著な業績を挙げ、他の学生の範となり、本学の名誉を高めた者」（個人又は団体）について、総長が表彰を行うものです。詳細は下記の東京大学ホームページの掲載箇所をご覧ください。

「東京大学総長賞」には、「学業」・「課外活動、社会活動等 」の分野があります。「学業」の候補者は、研究科からの推薦となっており、本研究科では「新領域創成科学研究科長賞」受賞者の中から候補者を選出しています。「課外活動、社会活動等 」については、本学の教職員、学生等による推薦（被推薦者自身による自薦も可）となっており、推薦者が担当の本部学生支援課学生生活チームに推薦書類を直接提出することになります。
例年3月に授与式が行われます。その際、受賞者はプレゼンテーション を行うことになっています。
The University of Tokyo President's Award, established in 2002, is given by the President to individuals or groups who "have made particularly outstanding achievements as students of the University of Tokyo in their academic work, extracurricular activities, social activities, etc., setting a good example for other students and enhancing the honor of the University. The President's award of the University of Tokyo is awarded in the categories of "Academic Achievement" and "Extracurricular Activities, Social Activities, etc.". Candidates for the "Academic Achievement" category are nominated by the Graduate School, and the Graduate School selects its candidates from among the recipients of the Dean's Award for Frontier Sciences. For "extracurricular activities, social activities, etc.," nominations are made by faculty, staff, and students of the university (self-recommendation by the nominee is also acceptable), and the nominee must submit the nomination documents directly to the Student Life Team of the Student Support Division at the headquarters.
The award ceremony is usually held in March of each year, at which time the winners are required to make a presentation.
