ゆうちょ銀行の口座を開設する場合、以下2つの方法があります。
■ゆうちょ手続きアプリ ＊2024年3月より開始
無通帳型総合口座「ゆうちょダイレクト+（プラス）」が開設できます。通帳は発行されません。
1. 口座開設方法：スマートフォンで個人情報を登録し、在留カード・学生証をスキャンする。訪店不要。

3. 口座開設までの期間：約2週間（審査の状況によりこの期間は前後する。）
＊従前ご案内しておりました「ゆうちょ口座開設アプリ」は今月末にサービス終了するとのことですので、
これから口座開設される留学生に対しては「ゆうちょ手続きアプリ」をご案内ください。
＊奨学金受給のために口座登録が必要な場合、ゆうちょダイレクト（オンラインシステム）より通帳イメージを
出力することができます。ただし、カナ氏名は30文字までの印字となりますため、氏名が長い方におかれましては
ゆうちょ銀行支店で口座開設および通帳発行をしていただく可能性がございます。（奨学金担当者の案内に従ってください。）
■支店での口座開設（本郷支店の場合）
1. 口座開設方法：事前予約制（1日あたり午前2枠、午後1枠）【連絡先：０３－５６８９－０３１０】
2. 口座開設までの期間：約2週間（問題がなければ即日開設。安全保障上の確認が必要な場合はこの限りではない。）
3. 必要書類：
・申込書※
・在留カード（区／市役所で住民登録をし、カードの裏に現住所が記載されたもの）
・学生証 ※入学許可証では受け付けられない場合があるため、学生証をご持参ください。
・印鑑（持っている場合）
・マイナンバー（外国送金（仕向・被仕向）する場合のみ）
※事前にオンラインで申込書を作成し印刷してご持参ください。

4. 訪店する場合の留意点：
・事前予約をお願いいたします。当日は予約時間を厳守し、無断キャンセルしないようお願いいたします。
・留学生本人が日本語の理解が難しい場合、日本語を理解する本学関係者（チューター可）を帯同してください。
支店において日本語のコミュニケーションが不十分と判断された場合は受付不可となる場合があります。
■柏の葉キャンパス駅支店は、予約不要で口座を開設できます。
本郷支店の場合と同じく、事前にフォーム（https://jp-bank-kaisetsu.japanpost.jp/account_open/0010.php）から書類を作成し印刷してご持参ください。
How to open a Japan Post Bank account (2 ways below)
■Yucho Tetsuzuki App *Started from March 2024
You can open a bankbook-free general account called “Yucho Direct + (Plus)”. A bankbook is not issued.

3.Time to open an account: approximately 2 weeks (may vary depending on the circumstances of the screening)
*The Japan Post Account Opening App (former app for opening a Japan Post Bank account) will be discontinued at the end of this month. Please use the Yucho Tetsuzuki App from now on.
*If you need to register with your bank account information to receive a scholarship, you can get an image of your bankbook from the Japan Post Direct (online system).
Please note that a student with long name may be advised to open a bank account at a Japan Post Bank branch and have a bankbook issued as a katakana name can only be printed with up to 30 characters. Please follow the instruction from the person in charge of scholarships.
■Opening an account at Hongo Branch
1.How to open an account: booking is to be made in Japanese by phone. [Contact number: 03-5689-0310] Then, visit the branch with someone who understands Japanese.
2.Time to open an account: approximately 2 weeks (It may take longer depending on circumstances)
3. Required documents:
– Application form※
– Residence card (Complete your residence registration at the ward/city office and have your address printed on the residence card.)
– Student ID card NB: please bring your student ID card as acceptance permit from the University may not be accepted.
– Seal (if you have one)
– Individual Number (“My Number”) (if you wish to make foreign remittances)
※Please complete the application form online and print it in advance of your visit to the branch.

4. Notes:
– It is necessary to book an appointment in advance of visiting a branch. Please make sure to keep your appointment on time and do not cancel without prior notice.
– If it is difficult communicating in Japanese, please bring someone who understands Japanese. You may not be able to open a bank account if it is determined that communication between you and a bank officer is not sufficient by a bank.
■The Kashiwanoha Campus Station Branch does not require an appointment to open an account.
